National Compensation Study
American Research Company's (ARC) study takes an in-depth look at the compensation of chief staff executives at national, international, state, and regional associations. The annual survey canvasses a randomly selected sample of associations utilizing a mail survey which produces 500-850 responses, and supplemented by information obtained from Internal Revenue Service tax returns for selected associations.
ARC's National Compensation Study represents the largest and most accurate database of association CEOs of any survey of its type - 3,300 national and international CEOs are included, along with 2,600 state and regional CEOs, for a total of 5,900 CEOs.
Priced at $589 (plus $9 shipping fee), the study includes the ARC CompReport® - a customized analysis and report that uses characteristics provided by the purchaser to indicate the average pay and range for a CEO at a comparable organization.
